How delightfully refreshing to see the typical "Number 1 team" actually being good sports and friendly with the protagonists, rather than being the haughty, condescending type that crushes weaker teams and tells them to give up on the sport altogether.

It's particularly weird because they're the rival group in an idol anime. Those generally don't get friendly until they first compete directly with the now matured/more experienced protagonists. They still end up friendly because this is a highly sanitized and romanticised depiction of the industry but it's odd to be so nice to the protagonists in only episode 4.
